It fits popular 36V carts (EZGO and Melex) and ships with the correct charging plug pre-fitted for true plug-and-play installation.
How to install a 36V Lithium Battery quickly and easily

How to remove old batteries (under 30 minutes)
- Take a clear photo of current setup
- Loosen all bolts and connecters
- Clean battery compartment (Make sure to wear protective gloves and eye wear if there is spilled acid)
How to install our battery hassle-free
- Find the correct spot to place battery
- Ensure the position wil not require cable lengthening
- Fit supplied mounting brackets to the battery
- Mark mounting holes
- Remove battery
- Drill mounting holes
- Place battery onto drilled mounting holes
- Fasten with provided bolts
Connecting the cables
- Plug in proved Touchscreen display
- Switch of DSG on page 2
- Connect charge port and controller cables
- Connect provided 12V Buck converter if you have lights & accessories
How to power lights & accesories
- Connect the black and red wires from the buck converter to the battery terminals, on top of the controller and charging cables.
- Connect the correct wiring to the Buck Converter’s yellow and black wire to give power to accessories.
Mount the Display:
- Mark and drill 3mm mounting holes.
- Secure the display holder using the supplied screws.
- Route and cable-tie the display cable neatly under the golf cart inside a protective Sprague/Sleeve.
- Fasten the end of the display cable nicely with a cable tie inside the display holder allowing flexibility.
- Enable DSG (Discharge): Return to page 2 of the smart display and turn on the DSG (discharge) function.

Battery Care
Avoid storing the pack empty. A battery left completely flat for too long can be damaged more easily than one stored charged.
For longer storage, keep it around 50–80% SOC.

Recently installed the KatBatt 36V battery in my old EzGo cart. It was a fairly easy retrofit from the previously used lead-acid batteries, the brackets provided with the new battery means it fits onto the existing frame.
Very happy so far. It works perfectly, and the display unit is a great thing, telling you how much capacity is left, and also rather importantly, what the battery terminal temperatures are (High temperatures may indicate hot connection from poor lug fitment etc, things that can cause premature battery terminal failure etc). On this point, make sure to fit new lugs to your controller wires, especially if you migrating from lead-acid batteries which corrodes lugs.

Was initially very tentative about buying battery for my 96 model Clubcart but after a brief discussion with Katbatt I took the plunge and it paid off handsomely. Just a note that the 36v battery is actually smaller in physical size than was initially advertised so fits perfectly into the Clubcart without any additional bracket requirements (I was initially expecting to custom build a bracket and raise the seat to fit battery, due to Clubcarts angular frame). To my surprise when battery arrived, the provided bracket fitted perfectly onto frame with no additional adjustments (Huge Win). It was a simple install that any basic DIY’er can do. The display unit is perfect for keeping tabs on the battery usage and drawdown.
I would highly recommend this battery for a 36v cart battery conversion (30% cheaper than any other quote I received too).
In short, super happy with my purchase, new lease of life for my older cart, super easy install and all the benefits of lithium over lead acid. Cart easily makes 27 holes (longest I have gone to date) with still loads left on the battery life.

Purchased the battery 6 months ago and performing great. The unit is same width as existing brackets of the old lead acid batteries. Makes it easy to replace, install and connect. The battery status display has all Lithium battery relevant information. The Bluetooth feature is a great added feature benefit. Getting great performance and I’m extremely happy.

Was tentative about purchasing this battery, finally called the guys and after looking at other options decided to pull the trigger. Replaced 6 x lead-acid (170Kgs) with this 36v kattbatt. Battery came well packaged and is very neatly made the battery housing is solid. Profile is smaller than i thought. Mounting brackets are simple and installation was very easy. Battery has Bluetooth connectivity for an app on your phone if you don’t want to install the monitor. Cart pulls very good, full speed up the hills, would recommend this to someone looking to replace their battery/s.
